Young MeninTouch NL is a massage class organized for young adult men, who are motivated to learn massage skills. The class is part of the MeninTouchNL community.
The maximum age is 35 years. We target men between the ages of 20 and 30 as several young men wanted to learn basic massage techniques but were uncomfortable being naked in a group of all ages. So we started a learning community in a setting with young people.
This class brings together seriously motivated young men to learn and practice massage skills together. Most participants do the class on site, but you can also participate online. So if you are unable to come to the location due to Corona / quarantine problems or other reasons, you can still practice at home with a massage buddy. The live meetups are usually in Utrecht or Amsterdam, on a Friday evening or Sunday during the day.
Every workshop we focus on a different body part or a different style or technique. Please buy a ticket for 7 lessons in advance, so you force yourself to come more often and you will quickly get the hang of it. After following the lesson you can make appointments with each other via our whatsapp group to practice.
What do you learn during the workshops?
You will learn skills such as:
- how do you balance yourself
- connect with the person receiving the massage
- principles of touch and consent
- massage positions
- using your weight and strength
- reading body and energy
- feeling tension, stress, knots, blockages and needs
- recognize different layers of the body
- basic knowledge of anatomy
- soft and sensual strokes to relax
- awakening and opening the senses
- stronger and deeper techniques to release waste, tension and stress
- massage kneading of muscles
- pressure point massage
Costs
- 1 half day ticket € 20,00.
- 1 full day = 2 tickets (2 x €20 = €40).

- We have a cancellation policy. No cancellation fees will be charged up to two days in advance. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. If you cancel on the day itself or if you don't show up, the full amount (100%) will be charged.
The language of instruction is English, because it is an international group of young people. But Dutch-speaking participants are most welcome.

During the massage day on December 28, 2021, images of anatomy were shown. The images from “Complete Atonomy” show the names of the most important muscle groups and the direction of strokes. You can download the presentation below. This can be useful when you want to practice the massage techniques learned.
