The more than 5000 year old Hindu practice and the modern insights of mindfulness and neo-tantra offer numerous opportunities to get more in touch with your body and mind and with each other. The art of 'weaving and expanding energy' is a tantric tradition. Energetic exercises form the basis for this, strengthening the connection between body and mind. We combine this with breathwork and contact exercises, touch and massage. Experiencing expanded awareness and intense connection can feel like meeting each other for the first time.

More connected to your body

We do not work goal-oriented but experience-oriented. You can relax completely and you don't have to work hard to be there for the other person. In the moment of here and now you can experience a feeling of enlightenment. You let go of your thoughts and at the same time you transcend your desires to make contact from your heart. You learn to make a deeply meditative, spontaneous, energetic and intimate connection with each other. You can use all your senses. With breath, movement, voice and touch you set energy in motion and that is palpable. You enjoy yourself and you let others enjoy your presence.

The exercises we do help you to be more attuned to your body and mind. You discover what gives you a good feeling, pleasure and enjoyment. How you can relax more deeply or feel more energetic. This allows you to listen better to the wishes and needs of your body. Communicating this with your partner can help ensure that your needs are better met.

Strengthening your love life

During a partner session, Tijs Breuer guides you to rediscover yourself and others. You experience the other through body sensations, each other's breathing, your touch and the exchange of your energies. By slowing down and being attentive together, you become more aware of the moment and you can enjoy contact with each other more. This is how you break the habits. For example, the habit of being busy with other things when you are together. Or to fall asleep immediately in bed or to focus on quick sex and orgasms. A “tantric” encounter is the opposite of a quickie, but is aimed at increasing intimacy.

Whether you practice breath and energy work alone, with a “tantric” masseur or with your partner, in all cases you will become more sensitive and enjoy yourself more. You discover the beauty of yourself and what you like. So an energetic massage from a professional masseur also benefits your sex life with your partner. For example, by sharing your experiences, or by taking more time to be together and have sex with your partner. You will notice that the intensity of your contact increases and that you experience more powerful orgasms.

When can a partner session be useful?

If intimacy or sex has largely disappeared from your relationship, breath and energy work from the tantric and Buddhist tradition or from modern mindfulness insights can provide a new impetus. You see each other with new eyes, you let go of habits and discover each other as if you were meeting for the first time. By sharing with each other what you experience, what you like and when you experience resistance, you will find new depth with each other.

If you start having sex together after practicing the learned techniques, this is usually more intense than you are used to. You experience a higher form of ecstasy with each other. If a “quickie” is the sexual equivalent of a takeaway, then making out such exercises is a Michelin-starred meal, slowly and lovingly prepared and all the more delicious for the careful preparation.

Together you can focus on experiencing a higher state of consciousness in body and mind. Or you can focus on creating a deeper, more harmonious bond with each other. Or to learn to be physically aware and spiritually present, to give each other energy and to let each other enjoy your presence and touch. Or to explore all aspects of each other's personalities, so that you can understand each other better and respond better to each other's behavioral patterns. You get to know the other person inside and out again.

Partner session setup

Every partner session is different. We respond to your situation, wishes and needs. So it is individual customization and there is also for the themes that play within your relationship. No couple is the same and everyone has a different life. Some people need more practical tips, others want to experience something new and others want to understand the interaction better. For example, the emphasis can be on making contact, energy exchange, paying attention to each other, understanding each other's needs better, exploring other forms of touch, meditative being together and spiritual connection. A session can have the character of an “outing”, a physical exploration or take more of a coaching or therapeutic form.

This is what a partner session can look like.

  1. We take enough time, at least 2,5 and preferably 3 hours. This can be during the day or in the evening. We meet at your home or in the intimate atmosphere of my house on the Maarsseveense Plassen.
  2. We drink tea and share each other's expectations together. We talk about your relationship and how you experience being together, intimacy and lovemaking. What you like and find difficult. I listen, ask questions and challenge you to be open and sincere.
  3. You both freshen up and dress nicely. We come together and look at each other. We open our hearts with a breath and mindfulness exercise. You become aware of what is going on in your body and in your emotional world.
  4. We perform a ritual together. this can for example be a stripping ritual, a dance ritual or a ritual of the senses. We experience the uniqueness and beauty of ourselves and others.
  5. I teach you to wake up each other's bodies with gentle touch, caress, tickling, breath and sound. As a giver you perceive what excites the other, excites and likes. As a receiver you experience your skin, your sense of touch. You become more sensitive to your life energy and more subtle energy flows.
  6. You will be guided to give each other a wonderful energetic massage. As a masseur I show you different forms of touch, caressing, effleurages and deeper strokes. The partner can imitate this or participate simultaneously, so that we give a four-hand massage together. You will learn massage forms that you can later apply at home.
  7. If you are already more familiar with tantra, I can also teach you more breathing exercises, mindfulness, meditation or advanced “tantric” techniques, such as energy circles en kamasutra postures.
  8. Afterwards I will leave you alone so that you have time to enjoy it together. You can continue with the touch. You can cuddle, embrace each other, make love or meditate. Finally, we will talk about your experiences.
