Day workshop in Utrecht – Taoist movement and massage for men

Do you want to feel your life energy and let it circulate through your body? In this workshop you will learn how to do this, while we practice Qi-gong and Taoist massage.

  • Date: Sunday March 10, 2023
  • Location: Awananda, Utrecht

In Taoism, movement and touch of the body are important.

  • Energy: Taoism views Chi as the universal life energy that flows through everything. Movement and touch activate the meridians and stimulate the flow of Qi in the body.
  • Yin and Yang: Sensual touch and balancing poses can promote the balance between yin and yang in the body.
  • Naturalness: Taoism emphasizes the importance of living in harmony with nature. Nudity and touching the whole body allows you to experience the beauty of your body as part of nature.

Qigong
On this day you will be introduced to Qi-gong, an ancient practice that has its origins in Taoism and traditional Chinese medicine. It involves a system of coordinated body movements, breathing exercises and meditation. Through controlled movements and breathing exercises, Qi Gong aims to regulate and strengthen the Qi flow in the body. From a standing position we make soft flowing movements, but also more dynamic movements, which sometimes resemble Tai-chi. Qigong exercises provide greater flexibility, strength, balance and coordination, but also provide feelings of relaxation and tranquility, greater self-awareness and a sense of connection with yourself and others.

Taoist massage
This form of massage combines Taoist principles with energetic techniques to cultivate and circulate your life energy. It is an integration of breathwork, full body massage and sensual touch, including genital touch. Centuries ago it was developed in the harems for the Chinese nobility. Since the kings had multiple wives, they had to restore the Qi flow in the body and activate the Ching (sexual energy). The energy flow in the body is restored by a soothing touch to sensual body parts, such as the penis, the anus and the pelvic floor. In the 80s, Joseph Cramer combined these traditions with insights from Western sexology, psychology and neurobiology. At the Body Electric School he added the “lingam massage” (penis massage). https://www.neptunus-wellbeing.nl/taoistische-massage/

What do we do?
During the morning we practice a number of energetic principles and movements of Qi-gong. This form of Taoist movement will be the perfect preparation for the Taoist massage.

Before the lunch break, we will do Taoist breathing and practice some sensual massage movements on the whole body. We also teach you some specific strokes for the genitals. In the afternoon we practice the Taoist massage in threesomes. Two men will give the third man a massage, after which we rotate.

Self-discovery and safety
This day can be a challenge, but also a journey of self-discovery and connection, with a focus on expanding consciousness, energy flow and liberation. You experience more spaciousness and sensuality. You get more life energy and feel more intense, with more intimacy and deeper pleasure. Together we provide a safe atmosphere in which everyone who identifies as male can be themselves, regardless of their body type, age or sexual orientation.
