Have you ever tried to masturbate and meditate at the same time? In this workshop you will discover how Mindful Masturbation can teach you about yourself and make your sexuality an even greater and more enjoyable experience. You will get to know the different forms of intimate and conscious self-touch and experience them together with the group.

The group can help you to experience your sensations more deeply and to feel carried by the group energy. By playing with your self-love and your sexuality in a mixed group you can encounter all sorts of things: thoughts, feelings, questions, (self)judgments. By welcoming everything, you discover new sides of yourself.

On this day we create a space to explore and play with your sensuality and sexuality. But also your ability to live your curiosity and discover new sides of yourself. For us it is paramount that you can experience your freedom in this in complete safety.

Why Mindful Masturbation?
We are often used to taking the fast track to orgasm, but it can be much more intense if you take the little side paths while touching other sensitive areas of your body, besides your genitals. We become mindful when we slow down. Orgasmic feelings come and go like waves in the ocean. You can discover what it is like to direct and channel your sexual energy. You will experience that you can keep the fire burning longer, increase the intensity and then grow your sensitivity.

All genders mixed up?
Yes, and that is enormously liberating! We all know the taboo, the fear and the shame regardless of our background and gender. Because masturbation is the neglected child of our sexuality, we have learned very well to do that secretly and out of sight of others. Separated from the relationship with ourselves, our partner and also with other people of the same or opposite gender or sexual orientation/identity. When we become aware of the enormous lack of freedom that has arisen from this (in ourselves and between ourselves and the other), we can transform this into safety, pleasure, connectedness and mindfulness.

Self-love
With Mindful Masturbation you will learn to love yourself more and more. As you discover new ways to please yourself, you will strengthen your connection to your body, increase your awareness and explore new sensations. This is giving ourselves loving care. We embrace our body and our true self as we are. This nourishes you and gives you insights, inner silence and strength.

What does the workshop look like?
During the first part of the day you will become familiar with the group through sharing, meeting structures and all the attention for safety in the group. You will receive background information and learn about the different tools that can be useful in Mindful Masturbation. Think of exercises to connect with your senses, body, yourself and others. But also the use of your breath, movement, forms of expression such as sound and dance, intensification and deceleration and intention.

In the afternoon we do two Mindful Masturbation sessions. The music and our voice lead you to your inner world of sensuality and ecstasy. After the sessions we share our experiences.

Genital touch
When we think of masturbation, we immediately think of touching our genitals, which can be the case with Mindful Masturbation, but it is not self-evident. You choose. Touching your genitals through your clothes or not touching them at all, you do what you want!
However: it is true that other people may undress. So if you participate, you agree to this. This workshop is meant to guide you to your freedom with your body and sexuality, not to non-consensual peeping.

Who will be attending this workshop?
Everyone is welcome. We are not creating a gender balance, so if you join, you are willing to share this space with those who are also attending. This is a queer and cis-positive event.

What is the best meditation posture to adopt?

The difference between standing, lying down and sitting meditation in the morning is mainly in intensity, focus and physical position. Each has its own benefits and can be suitable for different people and situations. The best position depends on your personal preference, your physical condition and the purpose of your meditation.

You can experiment with different positions to find what works best for you. It is also possible to alternate between different positions, for example by starting standing, then continuing sitting and finishing in a lying position.

Standing meditation:

  • Intensity: Standing meditation requires more physical effort and awareness than lying down meditation. This can make you more energetic and alert.
    • Focus: Standing keeps your body active and allows you to focus your attention better on the here and now.
    • Benefits: Improves concentration, strengthens posture and can help combat fatigue.
    • When: Ideal for people who have trouble staying awake or who want more energy.

Lying meditation

  • Intensity: Lying meditation is the most relaxing form. It is perfect to start the day calmly and release tension.

Sensual Self-Touch

Do you ever take the time to touch yourself? We often choose the familiar route of stimulating yourself vigorously, aimed at a quick discharge. It can be done differently! Discover what it feels like to “make love” to yourself, how nice it can be when you touch yourself intimately and consciously. You come to your sensuality while enjoying your physical sensations.

Explore your own sensuality by trying things out on yourself, noticing how it feels, and playing with it. You can enjoy different forms of touch on all your sensitive body parts. You can play with intensifying and slowing down your breathing. You can let your energy flow from your genitals through your entire body. By combining self-touch, movement, breathing, and sound, you bring your attention inward, where you can experience all kinds of feelings, such as excitement, tension, pleasure, fear, desire, etc.

Self-love

With mindful masturbation you learn to love yourself and make love to yourself. As you discover new ways to please yourself, you strengthen your connection with your body, increase your awareness and explore new sensations. At the same time, we give ourselves loving care. We embrace our body and our true self as we are. This nourishes you and gives you inner stillness and strength.

Empowering exercises
You can come to this workshop and open the space to meet new people, enjoy great conversations, touch, be touched, have fun, practice asking for what you want, practice saying “no” to what you don’t want – all in an environment structured as a place for relaxation, exploration and fun. We start with an opening circle and a meditation, to arrive in the space and come to your true self. In the massage corner we give a short massage instruction and you can practice these movements. In the next corner we give different options for hugging and holding each other. After these guided activities to promote trust, communication and understanding, you can enter the open space. Every 15 minutes you can choose whether you feel like a moment for yourself, a chat, a massage exchange or a ‘free-style’ hug. You will have enough time to relax, share a back massage or other welcome touch, have a cup of tea and a snack or just hang out.

Biweekly Naturist Morning Meditation (online)

Start your day with a short bare meditation of 30 minutes. You will enter the day with a feeling of inner peace. You will have more patience with everything and you will develop a sincere form of self-knowledge. Just as sports are good for your body, meditation is healthy for your mind, for your inner being. Will you join us? All you need is a computer or phone with the Zoom app.

Why meditate naked?
Well, simply because it feels good! Without clothes, your senses open up and you feel the elements: the earth under your buttocks, the wind in the room caressing your skin, the sunlight on your head. Shedding your clothes also removes physical and social barriers. You feel free and completely yourself.

For who?
The naturist meditations are organized for our men's Sangha, but every man (anyone who identifies as a man) is welcome, regardless of age, body type or background. There is also room for co-creation, so if you want to lead a meditation and guide the other participants, feel free to contact Tijs.

Online participation
Once you have registered, you will receive the Zoom link, Meeting ID and Passcode in your mailbox. This information will also be published in the Event Comments below, approximately 30 minutes before the start of the meditation. At least five minutes before the start of the meditation, open the Zoom application to go to the Zoom meeting. Your camera and microphone must be on when you enter the online meeting room, to create a safe atmosphere for everyone. At the start of the meeting, we will quickly greet each other and check in, to get to know all participants.

You can also participate on the spot, in a homely atmosphere, in Tijs' living room. Confirm at least one day in advance that you want to participate on the spot and only come if you feel healthy. Make sure you are on time, 15 minutes before the start of the meeting.

Naked meditation is liberating

This morning I meditated naturalistically, in the nude. Why would you meditate naked? My boyfriend would say: “Just because it’s fun!”

The benefits of a regular meditation practice are many—from a daily sense of inner peace to greater patience and a genuine sense of self-knowledge. You’re probably familiar with the benefits of exercise for your body. Meditation offers the same benefits for your mind, for your inner being.

Why meditate naked?

In Hinduism, there are Naga Sadhus, who wear no clothes because they want to dedicate their lives to worshipping God. They meditate completely naked. In Jainism, too, spiritual leaders take off their clothes to live a minimalist life and worship God. Without clothes, your senses open up and you feel the elements: the earth beneath your buttocks, the wind in the room caressing your skin, the sunlight on your head. Shedding your clothes also removes physical and social barriers. A deeper exploration of self-awareness and acceptance becomes possible. When you take off your clothes, you can take off much more.

Be naked of judgments about yourself and all other judgments.

About whether you meditate right or wrong. Or how you feel when you sit here. Or if you look weird with your eyes closed or your hands folded in your lap. Or why your monkey mind won't switch off. Self-judgment is a series of lies that your brain has created, but that don't help you. Let go of all those judgments and be naked.

Be naked of hopes, desires and fears.

Make room in yourself for bravery. Because sitting with yourself is scary. Sometimes you are attacked by thoughts and you are confronted with yourself. Meditation does not care about what you want, who you want to be, nor what you are afraid of. That which you do not want to face in your inner life will come right out when you sit still. Allow it and show your nakedness.

Be naked of your expectations.

Expect nothing, because you get absolutely nothing from meditation. In fact, you lose everything: self-judgment, fear, self-hatred, anxiety, depression and more. Step by step, you leave behind all the useless baggage that you carry with you every day. And you become more and more naked inside.

Be naked of your ego.

There is a part of us that is desperately trying to run your life and at the same time is making sure that your life is ruined. Meditation slowly and painfully puts your ego back in its place. By being in your nakedness and meditating, you take away all control of your life from your ego. When we create space in our heart, our lives can blossom unhindered, in ways you never imagined. There is room for more joy, fulfillment and happiness when you meditate with the intention of destroying your ego.

Our inner life is breathtakingly beautiful, more than we could ever hope to realize with the limitations of our thoughts. In our nakedness, let us leave those thoughts behind and connect with what is real, your inner experience of life. Naked, because the most memorable moments in our lives happen without clothes.

Example of a naturist meditation

Below are a few steps to enjoy nude meditation in a respectful and conscious way. This meditation focuses on self-awareness, acceptance, and a deeper connection with your body and inner self. Of course, your nude meditation practice is personal and unique, so feel free to adapt the steps and give it your own interpretation.

  1. Choose a comfortable space. Choosing a private, comfortable space is crucial for a serene and undisturbed experience. Make sure the space is warm, quiet, and free of distractions.
  2. Set your intention. Set an intention for your practice. It could be to cultivate self-love, increase your body awareness, or simply experience the liberation that comes with nude meditation.
  3. Find your right posture. Sit comfortably on a mat or cushion. Make sure your back is straight, your shoulders relaxed, and your hands resting gently on your thighs or lap. You can choose to sit on a chair, the floor, or on a meditation cushion.
  4. Focus on your breathing. Close your eyes or hold a soft gaze and begin taking a few deep breaths. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a moment, and then exhale slowly through your mouth or nose. This helps to calm the mind and prepare you for meditation. Now shift your focus to the natural rhythm of your breathing. Feel the cool air as you inhale and the warm air as you exhale. If your mind wanders, gently bring it back to your breathing.
  5. Experience body awareness. Begin to shift your focus from your breath to your body. Notice the sensations on your skin, the contact between your body and the mat, and any other sensations that arise.
  6. Experience nudity. Embrace the experience of being naked. Notice the freedom, the absence of limitations, and the authentic connection to your body. Explore any feelings of vulnerability or empowerment that arise.
  7. Deepening the Meditation. If you feel comfortable, go deeper into your meditation. Explore any emotions, thoughts, or sensations that arise. Allow yourself to be present and fully immersed in the experience.
  8. Gently Close. As you approach the end of your meditation, begin to bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Gently wiggle your fingers and toes, slowly open your eyes, and take a moment to reflect on your experience and thank yourself for giving yourself a moment of peace.

Do you want to get back in touch with yourself, with other men and with nature? During this 3-day weekend workshop you will immerse yourself in the elements at the beautiful Samara Retreat Center, to feel deep relaxation and release your daily stress.

Christian and Tijs offer you a clothing-optional long weekend retreat, as a gift for yourself. An opportunity to feel deep connection with your inner nature and your body, through yoga and massage. To discover new aspects of yourself through the philosophy of the five elements, and to make friends with them. You will be pampered with yoga exercises and we give each other soothing and relaxing massages.

The five elements
We travel through the five elements of yoga philosophy. We connect to the earth to ground ourselves. We let go of what no longer serves us and let the fire transform into what is needed. We flow to water to connect with our emotions and desires. The element of air helps us invite love, empathy and compassion into our hearts. And the element of space gives us more clarity and space, so we can think about what we want to make room for this fall.

What do we do?
Through a combination of massage and playful yoga we stimulate and bring more balance to our body and mind. We experience how nice it is to move, stretch and sweat, which recharges our body with energy. And we discover how pleasant touch can be, in an atmosphere of trust and connection. In addition to yoga and massage, we do contact and attention exercises. At various times during the weekend there is room for integration, through meditation, reflection and sharing.

Yoga
Yoga is an age-old practice designed to reconnect with your inner self, calm your ever-active mind, and stimulate the flow of life energy in your system. Some yoga poses stretch and massage your muscles and tendons, while others build strength and endurance. Christian's playful, investigative and interdisciplinary form of yoga is inspired by ashtanga and vinyasa yoga, with elements of yin yoga. Through meditation, breathing exercises and postures we work on self-awareness, strength, flexibility and our vital energy (prana). Some exercises are done in pairs to create connection with each other.

Massage
You will learn to give Esalen massages, a holistic massage style developed at California hot springs. An Esalen massage is considered an inner journey. We will use this form of massage to connect with the elements within us. Through long movements, a slow pace and pauses you are invited to return to your natural state of balance between the five elements. Transformation takes place through active participation between giver and receiver, creating awareness, relaxation and sensuality. Body and mind become more aligned when you receive this fluid touch. All touching will be conscious and based on consent, in a safe setting.

Facilitators
As a life coach and experienced masseur, Tijs Breuer specializes in in-depth body work. He works with mindfulness, body awareness and the power of loving attention. Tijs gives weekly workshops in which playful discovery and connection with yourself and the group are central.
Christian Wicke works as a general practitioner and yoga teacher in ashtanga and vinyasa yoga. He enjoys sharing his insights about and from yoga with others, in group lessons and 1-on-1 settings. In addition to teaching the practical aspects of yoga, he also enjoys studying and debating yoga philosophy and its implications for our daily lives.

The location
Samaru Retreat Center is a home in nature, in the east of the Netherlands. We stay in a comfortable house, completely private in the middle of a natural oasis. The workshops take place in a beautiful, recently built workshop space, surrounded by trees. There is a swimming pond, a food forest and a vegetable garden. You will find many spaces to relax alone or together.

Eating and staying overnight
We arrive Thursday evening and leave early Sunday evening. Our host provides a healthy organic and vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner. Alcohol and drugs are not allowed. We sleep in single beds in a double or quadruple room, or in a shared bed in a double room (ideal for couples!).

Cuddling is healthy. Cuddle hormones such as oxytocin reduce your stress level and are good for your body and mind. By hugging regularly you gain more confidence in yourself and in others. You can recharge your battery at the end of your working week.

Empowerment exercises:
You can come to a cuddle party to meet new people, enjoy great conversations, touch, be touched, have fun, practice asking for what you want, practice saying "no" to what you don't want – all in an environment structured as a place for relaxation, exploration and fun. You can even come to a cuddle pajama party just to cuddle! We do a range of guided activities and exercises that promote trust, communication and understanding. Then we open up for 'free-style' cuddling. You'll have plenty of time to relax, chat, share a back massage or other welcome touch, cuddle, grab a bite to eat, or just hang out.

This two-day tantra oasis focuses on exploring play, sensuality and connection with like-minded men. It offers the ideal place to share, learn and discover. We are happy to offer you a safe space, where you can come into more contact with your body and mind and experience more connection with other men.

During, before and after the workshops we have full access to use the swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. No previous experience with tantra or massage is necessary to participate.

Workshop Leading

Pinto is a massage therapist from Rio de Janeiro – Brazil. He has a natural balance between theoretical knowledge and empathetic intuition when approaching his clients. Since moving to London 8 years ago, he has continued to develop his techniques of touch and intimacy. He has an ITEC diploma from the prestigious London School of Massage. His motto is: good things should not be done hastily. @studiopwellness.

Tijs is a classically trained masseur and life coach, who also works with various modern forms of bodywork, including Alchemy of Touch, Myofascial Energetic Release and Deep Muscular Techniques. He also followed various tantra courses, including at the School for Tantra (Amsterdam) and Gay Tantra by Armin Heining (Berlin). In his massage and tantra sessions you feel his presence, peace and attention. Since 2015 he has been organizing meditation, tantra, massage and cuddling workshops and multi-day retreats.

Sensual and safe

Although not sexual, some workshops include nudity, massage and sensory stimulation. Everything is kept within safe boundaries and consent. You only have to participate in the workshops and exercises that you feel comfortable with and you will only be touched in the way you agree to.

Are you coming with your partner? Then you can do all the exercises as a pair or you can offer to gain experience with other participants.

Day 1: Orientation, curiosity and sensuality

4pm – 14.00pm to 18.00pm

Discover the power of your senses, open yourself up and understand how tantra can change your life.

On this introductory day you will learn what it means to strive for unity with the divine. Tantra can bring more pleasure and intimacy into your life. You will see how practicing liberation and sensuality can play a role in diving into a more intense way of life. And you will experience how incredibly sexy it can be to undress your partner.

  • Welcome: We get to know other participants during a playful and pleasant introduction. You will receive an overview of the agenda and expectations for the workshop. We will set intentions for the retreat.
  • Tasting Ritual: Open your senses of sight, smell, taste and lick in an intimate one-on-one tasting session, feeding each other in a slow, attentive, orgasmic and sexy way.
  • Introduction to Tantra: Learn about Tantra philosophy and principles. Get a taste of the different traditions and techniques that will help you create more intimacy in your life.
  • Exploration of connection and intimacy: Through mindfulness, meditative movements and touch we explore the workshop space and the resort. We invite you to open your senses, to feel on a deeper level.
  • Undressing ritual: Connect and surrender to the subtle and loving touch. By bringing your intention into your touch without words, we will explore the joy, sensuality and new sensations. Every touch will bring great pleasure to both the recipient and the explorer. We invite you to give and receive at the same time.

Day 2: Deep dive into the colors of the rainbow

4pm – 14.00pm to 18.00pm

Experience the joy and vibrancy you feel when your breath flow and touch are in harmony with our energy centers.

Chakras are subtle energy centers in the human body. They are symbolized by the colors of the rainbow. During this day you will learn to better understand and influence the functioning of your chakras. We use breathing techniques, partner exercises and energetic massages. And we're not skipping the penis, as our strongest energy vehicle that can give us so much pleasure.

This is what we're going to do:

  • Advanced breathing techniques: Pranayama for energy control and expansion. As we activate our breath, we feel our Energy Channels (Nadis) and Chakras.
  • Energetic massage workshop: We teach you how to allow yourself to feel your chakras on a deeper level and how pleasant touch can be. We use a combination of energetic massage styles such as Alchemy or Touch.
  • Six-handed touch: In a small and larger group we will activate our senses when we are touched by several men at the same time.
  • Sacred Sexuality Workshop: Partner Exercises for Deepening Intimacy and Connection. We teach you how to give a great Lingam massage, using techniques from Joseph Cramer to awaken the energy of the penis. You can cultivate sexual energy and use it for spiritual growth.
  • Sunset ritual: In this group exercise by the pool we honor the elements, the cardinal directions and the energies we discover in our bodies.

Day 3: Integration day and Orgasmic circle

Find inner harmony as you integrate new experiences with healing touch, sharing circles and self-love.

This afternoon we will nourish ourselves to allow the previous experiences to resonate and find their place. We offer a mix of activities to help you integrate experiences, find inner peace and build a sense of connection. If you join on day 3, you will experience relaxation, self-discovery and deep caring connections.

Here's what you can look forward to:

  • Healing Touch Workshop: Learn the gentle art of Healing Touch, a technique that uses light touch to balance your energy field and promote overall well-being.
  • Movement meditation: flow through gentle movements that combine mindfulness with physical activity. This exercise will help you connect with your body and calm your mind.
  • Sharing Circle: In a compassionate and supportive space, we connect with your fellow participants and share your experiences.
  • Orgasmic Circle: We will see each other loving ourselves and honoring the beauty of our bodies as we explore a self-massage and mindful masturbation session.
  • Closing Ceremony: End the day with a calming ritual to strengthen the positive energy and connections you've made. We provide tips and strategies to integrate tantric practices into your daily life. We will celebrate gratitude and parting blessings in a heartfelt ritual.
